Does my business really need digital sales and marketing?

Yes, because the world has fundamentally changed. On average, your clients spend 7 hours each day online, 2.5 hours on social media, and 52% of the time connected through a mobile device. As a result, it’s become more challenging for your sales team to reach potential clients. Not long ago, your sales staff could make 50 dials and get 3 to 4 appointments. Now, it takes 100 dials to get 1. To succeed in our “digital first” era, you need to give your sales team the tools and training they need to move the numbers back in their favor. You must reach your prospective clients where they are: online. You must master digital sales and marketing.

What is Digital Distribution™?

Digital Distribution™ is a systematic, scalable model that aligns with how advisors and investors make decisions in our digital world. Digital distribution has three pillars: process, technology, and people. Together, the three pillars help you raise capital more effectively, more efficiently, and more profitably.

What is inbound?

Inbound is the roadmap for how to grow your business in a digital world. Inbound is an active framework that includes the tactics and strategies needed to align with the digital buying process of today. Your future clients are spending more and more time online, searching and researching for the solutions to their problems. Inbound is the sales and marketing strategy that aligns with this new behavior. When we translate inbound for financial services, inbound has three phases: the engagement phase, the due diligence phase, and the inflow stage.

What types of clients does GK3 work with?

We work with clients from across the financial services industry, including asset managers, real estate sponsors, alternative investment firms, mutual fund companies, wealth managers, financial data and technology companies, and TAMPs. Our clients oversee substantial assets or have a significant sales and marketing budget.

What makes GK3 different from other digital marketing firms?

At GK3, we speak two languages: digital and financial services distribution. We know of no other consulting firm in asset management that understands and implements digital strategies the way we do. We know of no digital agency that understands sales and marketing for financial services like us. That’s what makes us different.

How much does it cost to work with GK3?

We make it easy for you to work with us. We charge a blended hourly rate for our services. We charge a monthly retainer to make sure our team is focused on your success. Clients that require true digital transformation for their sales and marketing can expect to spend $200 to $500 thousand per year, or the cost of one wholesaler (including salary, benefits, and travel).

How long does it take to get results?

Great question! While we sometimes see initial results soon after we launch a digital sales and marketing program, patience and discipline will be required. You’ll need 6 to 12 months before you begin to see significant momentum. Digital transformation is a long-term process that requires time, dedication, and commitment across your organization. Candidly, the process may take longer than you want. The investment may be more than you prefer. We do everything we can to demonstrate results along the way, and as quickly as possible. That’s why it’s so important to hire the right people or the right partner.
